On 16 June 2023, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the High School of Public Governance and the United Nations Population Fund. The document confirms the intentions of both sides to cooperate in developing a system of training and professional development for specialists working in the system of combating and preventing domestic and gender-based violence.

The cooperation includes the opening of the National Training Centre for Combating Domestic and Gender-Based Violence, which will be responsible for:

• training and professional development of specialists involved in the implementation of policies to combat domestic and gender-based violence;
• Strengthening the capacity of educational programmes on domestic and gender-based violence through the development of standardised certification curricula, creation and maintenance of a knowledge base;
• creating a system of continuous professional development for specialists.

In addition, parties agreed to coordinate the development of a national training system for specialists in the field of combating domestic and gender-based violence, including the development and implementation of the necessary policies, and coordination with government agencies: The Office of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy, the Ministry of Social Policy, the National Social Service Service, the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service, etc.

As part of the joint activities, it is also planned to organise and conduct joint training events, seminars, roundtables, scientific and practical conferences, forums, meetings and other outreach activities.
