A new online manual ‘Development of Coaching Skills of Teachers Who Train Civil Servants’ has been published by the High School.
The introduction of training, the use of training technologies, exercises and tasks in the educational process, requires constant updating and deepening of the knowledge, skills and abilities of teachers.
The materials collected in the manual cover methods and forms of interactive learning for the professional development of public servants. The authors focus on the nature of adult learning, the formation of competencies using training technologies, case studies, and project-based learning. The peculiarities of organising online learning and gender-sensitive communication are also considered.
The team of authors hopes that the manual will contribute to improving the level of coaching skills of those who train public servants or intend to pursue a career in this area. It will also help trainers develop their coaching skills and provide resources and materials for reflection that can be used and adapted to meet the needs of participants in the educational process.
It should be added that the manual was developed by the High School with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme as part of the Starosta Training School educational project. It was also developed to implement the Action Plan for the Development of the Professional Training System for Public Servants, Heads of Local State Administrations, their First Deputies and Deputies, Local Government Officials and Local Council Members until 2027.
