The 7th session of the Targeted Training Program on Developing Knowledge and Analytical Skills in the Field of European Integration, implemented as part of the EU project Natolin4Capacity Building Phase II, has concluded.

Over the course of six weeks, participants worked on topics directly related to Ukraine’s accession negotiations with the European Union. This session was dedicated to Cluster 2, “Internal Market”-one of the key areas of European integration, covering the free movement of goods, services, capital, and people, as well as issues of competition and consumer protection.

The training combined lectures, expert meetings, practical exercises, individual and group work, a study visit, and the preparation of analytical studies. In total, participants completed over 100 hours of training, deepening not only their knowledge of the EU but also the skills necessary for daily work with European integration processes.

The program placed a special emphasis on analytical work. Participants explored the practical aspects of Ukraine’s European integration, refined their research with mentors, and practiced public speaking.

The final stage was the presentation of analytical papers. All participants successfully presented their research and joined the Natolin4Capacity Building alumni community.

Following the training, representatives of government agencies noted that the program helped them gain a deeper understanding of the logic behind the workings of EU institutions, the decision-making process, the importance of cross-sectoral cooperation, and the practical aspects of adapting Ukrainian public administration to European standards.

For the High School of Public Governance, participation in this program is part of a systematic effort to strengthen the capacity of the public service in the field of European integration. After all, the path toward the EU requires not only political decisions but also trained specialists who understand procedures, possess analytical tools, and can handle complex tasks at the level of state institutions.

We congratulate the participants of the 7th session on the completion of their studies and wish them success in applying the knowledge they have gained in their professional careers!
