As of today, 2,391 people have registered to participate in the video training course “Identifying and Responding to Conflict-Related Sexual Violence and Assisting Victims” launched by the High School of Public Governance in cooperation with the Ukrainian Women Lawyers Association ” JurFem”. In addition, 1,587 people have already received certificates of attendance.
The course is designed to enhance knowledge of conflict-related sexual violence, sensitive communication with victims of CRSV, providing quality assistance, adherence to the principle of “do not harm” and awareness of the importance of coordination and cooperation between agencies and organisations working to combat CRSV and provide assistance to victims.
It consists of five modules:
▪️ conflict-related sexual violence as part of deliberate military tactics;
▫️ interaction with victims of CRSV;
▪️ providing assistance to victims of CRSV;
▫️ coordination of activities in the field of prevention, detection and response to CRSV;
▪️ reparation programmes: compensation and reparations.
