On 23 January, the High School of Public Governance the VESTA Volunteer Association signed a partnership and cooperation agreement.
The parties agreed to implement joint projects and communication activities for the professional development of public servants in communication with war veterans and their families, as well as mental health, etc. The volunteers’ experience will contribute to the development of skills required in the course of professional activities under martial law. This agreement emphasises the mutual desire of the parties to improve the quality of social life of veterans and their families in their contacts with state institutions.
This agreement was based on the successful experience of cooperation between the High School and VESTA last year. In particular, a number of activities were implemented aimed at organising the work of heads of district state administrations under martial law, topical issues of local self-government, interaction between civilian and military structures, supporting mental health and the social and psychological climate in the team, and adapting veterans to work in public service.
In addition, an online course ‘The Language of the Present’ developed by VESTA was launched on the learning platform of the High School ‘StudyіЯ’. The course aims to improve interaction between government officials and citizens, including those returning to civilian life after service.
